He retired from the Air Force in 1973 to serve as the CFO of a national brokerage firm, and five years later he founded STI, Solar Tech International Inc. He was the founding pastor of two churches in California and has served as an ordained pastor for more than 20 years. He and his wife Lois reside in Northern California.
